Important info - what to expect, what to bring:

This adventure ride is for experienced mountain bikers only. You need to be well prepared, fit and able to ride blue intermediate trails. You will be riding through remote Tasmanian wilderness with limited phone reception and access should you have an injury. Please call the Dawn 0430 375 746 or Richard 0437 323 607 for any questions regarding these trails.

You can experience a full range of weather conditions on this ride. We recommend bringing the following items:

·      A light rain jacket

·      Essential bike spares and spare tyre tubes

·      First Aid Kits (including space blanket and compression bandages)

·      Water (minimum 3 litres) - there is no drinking water on the trails

·      Snacks - in case you need an energy burst or the ride takes longer than you expected

·      GPS satellite tracking devices such as Emergency Plus Phone App, Strava, Garmin etc

·      Bikes need to be well maintained. There are no shortcuts out, so if you can't fix something, you are pushing your bike out

Remember you can never be too prepared!
